If you prefer to use a private video hosting service to host videos - as opposed to YouTube or Vimeo, which are public - check out Wistia. It can be used in the Video Gallery, Video, and Featured Content block.
Note: You'll need to set up and manage your own Wistia account.
How to add a Wistia video
Once your video has been uploaded to Wistia, follow these instructions to embed the hosted video on Attendease.
Begin by generating an embed code for your video. On the Wistia page that your video is on, select the Embed & Share option under the Video Actions menu. This will open the Embed & Share screen where you can choose your embed code type and adjust it for your page.
There are two main types of embed codes on Wistia - "Inline embeds" and "Popover embeds." You want to choose the "Inline embed" code and ensure that the embed type is "Fallback." This will generate a code that looks like this:
<iframe src="//fast.wistia.net/embed/iframe/avk9twrrbn" allowtransparency="true" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" class="wistia_embed" name="wistia_embed" allowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen webkitallowfullscreen oallowfullscreen msallowfullscreen width="620" height="349"></iframe>
Copy and past the URL in the "src" section:
https: in front of it to get a secure URL.
This secure URL can now be added into the "Video URL" field in the Video Gallery, Video, and Featured Content block.
